Red face A great camping/outdoors scent, but it's discontinued :(

Just sampled Gucci PH I and this isn't just pencil shavings. It reminds me of a fallen pine tree with some sort of sweet sap oozing out from within. Such a great scent. Masculine and adventurous. Anybody else get more than the just 100% pencil shavings many others comment about?

    Now THAT is a fan!

Yeah, I had to bottle up on this baby - too classic.

But when one passes, another new one arrives. So to the OP - if you like the piney, sappy notes, then you might enjoy the recent Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. That has some beautiful coniferous notes in it. I really enjoy that one.

I would also recommend Arquiste Aleksandr, which is a leather and pine with violet.

I get a nice gingery fragrant wood from it. This release from Gucci is IMO another classic.

Maybe try Juniper Ridge fragrances. They are inspired by hiking and the outdoors.

Yes, Juniper Ridge is wildcrafted from the real stuff, no synthetics,
    Siskiyou is terrific.

Lubin Itasca is really nice for this - lots of pine and juniper in addition to the vetiver.

I also get a bit of incense out of GPH 1 also. Great scent.
