    Honestly at that price point it will be hard , you will have to go niche.

    Bvlgari Black, in my opinion, does not fall into the "non-offensive" category. That strong rubber note may be a bit much for some. Midnight in Paris, on the other hand, is much safer and still has that leather note (without the rubber). Some people describe it as unisex so keep that in mind.

    With "non-offensive" in view, i also highly recommend L'Essence de Cerruti .
    ointments and perfume delight the heart....

    Varvatos is an excellent recommendation. I'd also suggest Burberry London (although I personally don't get a lot of leather, but it is there in the background). Another favorite leather of mine is Speakeasy by Frapin. It's above your $70 price limit, but I think it's worth getting a sample.

    I have speakeasy, and I get about 0.05% leather from it..mostly lavender and woods / florals, but hardly any leather.
    I'd say go for pure leather or go for bently for men / bently for men intense...never blind buy (like me) and always sample first

    Everlast Original 1910 is a great "economy" scent with a clear leather note. It also has fougere and oriental elements, so some might find it a bit "old," but the quality is up there with the "better" designer scents.
