Evidently, the brand must have decided that marketing-wise it pays to capitalize on her persona. In the past, she was the face for the Private collection flankers (which, after all, were supposed to be "private"). Perhaps sister Jane is not equally photo-ready.

If I'm not mixing up brothers, the father is the collector of German and Austrian art who created the Neue Galerie.

The reviews I've seen are rather uninspiring. These are not classic, ballsy, confident Estee Lauders.

Wanting to try this line, but they seem mostly florals, so not a priority for me. This seems like ELs entry in to exclusives game.

Estee Lauder has some of my favourite scents: Azuree, Aramis (owned by EL), Youth Dew and Bronze Goddess. The PC Tuberose Gardenia is wonderful, but was not impressed with the Amber Ylang-Ylang or the Jasmine Moss.
"No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this." Desert Rose by Sting and Cheb Mami, Album 1999.

I tried the amber one and the Rose one in the store. I found the Rose to be pleasant, but not remarkable. The amber was better, but not attention grabbing. The rest I sniffed on paper but wasn't inspired to go further.

I might check out the lilac one. I wonder if these are readily available. Thanks for posting. Will have to revisit 'Pleasures' one of the last good scents from this company.

I tried Ikat Jasmine in my Jasmine Sniff-Fest thread.

Ikat Jasmine EdP by Aerin Lauder (Floral,F) Made by a relative of Estée, I presume. Yes, her granddaughter. All right, let's see what she learned from grandma. Whoa, cool! A fresh, young Jasmine for the woman on the go (assuming it's between the Hampton's and Bergdorf's). Nice, smart, accessible the woman who wears this. What's in it? Jasmine Sambac. Makes sense. No indoles. Egyptian Jasmine, Tuberose (not 100% sure what that smells like yet), Honeysuckle (yes, its sparkle is right there) in a base of smooth sandalwood. So smart to ground these strong florals in something that keeps them bright. I like this. I don't love, love it, but I do like it a lot.
