    Default Diptyque L'Eau Trois EdT

Just wondering if anyone has seen this in stores lately. Can find it on the official Diptyque web site but most blogs or forum posts suggest that it is discontinued.

    What's the official line?

They seem to have different bottles of late?, so maybe it has been a casualty!

p.s. - There are U.S. Ebay listings for some in spherical bottles.

I thought all the Diptyque scents were put into round bottles a couple of years back?

There seem to be a lot of square ones around for sale - sorry, red herring!

Don't know if it has been discontinued or not. Can be found on Ebay as Lpp stated for around $110 for the large size. Haven't seen it on retail online fragrance websites with stock of it in a long while.

The first three perfumes ever created became exclusive to the 34 Boulevard Saint Germain
(original boutique) a few years ago.

L'Eau Trois. L'eau was the first, L'Autre ("the other") the second, and so L'Eau Trois was almost inevitable.

I like it for the dry aromatics and incense.

Oh yes, L'Eau. This one is like Rousse but in a rustic way lol. But isn't a boutique exclusive

    l'eau
    l'Autre
    l'Eau Trois

    In this sequence.

The boutioque manager recounted to me how they went about naming them.

Diptyque was a furniture & fabric store in the beggining, then they composed a perfume , l'eau, then the second perfume, which they called "the other" (because it was the other perfume they also offered) and then finally the third which they called the third one, l'Eau Trois.

The trio used to be be available globally then they became exclusive to the 34 Boulevard Saint Germain boutique in Paris.
Which is true because thats where I saw them and got the information. I didn't see them in other places that sold Diptyque, even in Paris.

Now I see l'eau has become available, but the other two are yet to be available here.
