Socalwoman, we did some similar shopping. Over the last month, I stocked up on several lines at TJMaxx, and Aquiesse was one of them!

Tonight I am burning Aquiesse Alpine Meadow. Notes per the box are dewy grass, wild fruits, alpine florals, mountain pepper, balsam fir and light musk. Very nice, although the throw is moderate (which I tend to like).

Tonight I am enjoying a Russian Nights by Frederic Malle candle. It's becoming my favorite cold weather (non holiday) home fragrance. I think next year I'll get the perfume gun and/or the rubber incense as well.

Aquiesse Andean Cherimoya was a winner! I'll have to keep my eye out for more from this line.

I put one called from Woodwick called Cherry Jubilee on the warmer in my bedroom today and I can smell it everywhere! Sweet, but not cloying.

I'm trying another of my Marshall's bargains today: Heyland & Whittle Winter Spice. There is almost no throw at all and it's tunneling toward on side. Oh well.

Ha! It's a good one, isn't it! I burned that briefly this AM. Tonight, I'm burning Ecoya London from their holiday series. Almost done with it, so just going to try and finish it up soon.

Update on Papier D'Armenie candle: at the third burning, at last a definite benzoin note fills the room... The quality/price ratio remains still very poor, especially compared to the ratio of the paper strips!
