    Default Favorite Men's Line

Been thinking about my favorite men's lines, across the board, as opposed to individual fragrances.

This would include the original, and the flankers, taken as a whole. Also, what are the strongest and weakest from the line?

For example, I'd say the Dior Homme line is tops for me. The stars for me being Dior Homme and DHI, with DHS right behind. Cologne (2013 reform) was sort of a letdown.

I could also see the L'instants, A*Mens, Fahrenheits and Declarations getting some love.

I can't think of a niche line for some reason, as I tend to love single fragrances for those, and there just aren't many flankers.

    What would be yours?

Probably Dior & Guerlain are two I enjoy but there are just so many deserving.

Acqua di Parma Colonia and its flankers would get my vote.

If you are just asking about lines, and not entire range from the house, I would say:

    1. Creed Royal Exclusives
    2. Armani Prive
    3. Dior Homme
    4. Dior La Collection Prive

None, really. Not into flankers that much. I do love LIDGE, though.

Oh, I didn't think about the Colonias, but yeah. That line could easily be in my top couple as well.

Chanel for me, especially the Exclusifs and particularly Sycomore and Coromandel which are bizarrely marketed to women.

    Ah. Ok.

Dior Homme. I actually like every flanker more than the "original"

Chanel Allure line. (Flankers in name only - there is really very little resemblance to each other)

I would have to choose the Dior Homme line as well. Something for every occasion.

    Default Favorite Men's Line

I own two of the A*Men flankers, and two of the Declaration flankers. So those two lines are definitely in.

The Chanel Allure line is pretty good, only one that I don't like, and the Guerlain Homme line, despite being slagged off as Guerlain pandering to the masses, is good too, I like all four of them.

I like the Habit Rouge flankers better than the "main" EDT.

The He Wood line are quite interesting.

Would the Azzaro Pour Homme line (if you include Silver Black) count?

Actually, it's not all that common for the good stuff to get more than one or two flankers, when you get loads of flankers, the line tends to be dross (Boss In Motion, YSL L'Homme)

Even though there are only two of them: Gucci Pour Homme I and II. Damn you, Tom Ford! Why couldn't you have made a Gucci Pour Homme III? Oh, and speaking of which, I would give Tom Ford For Men and Tom Ford Extreme an honorable mention, even though Grey Vetiver doesn't do anything for me.

Hermes, by far: Bel Ami, Rocabar, Equipage (!), Eau d'Hermes, Terre (!), Voyage

YSL a close second: Kouros & Body Kouros, Jazz & Live Jazz, Rive Gauche, M7 & Fresh, La Nuit de L'Homme

Can't think of a niche line that has more than three great masculines in a line/series, Malle probably but I don't own any bottles there.
