Default Any lovers of Je Reviens out there?

I mean VINTAGE Je Reviens. I won an eBay auction. The bottle is 1/8 L, the bottle is clear and round, the cap is gold colored. The label is gold colored, oval, and designates the fragrance as a lotion and includes 75 degrees. The "degrees" is not spelled out, just the symbol is used next to the number 75. What does this mean?

Can you please put a photo up???

I remember it from the 70s, but it was edt or pdt.

Donna, thanks for your reply. I'm embarrassed to admit that I do not have it in hand yet. Once It arrives, I'll try to figure out how to get a photo onto BN. The images are still present on eBay.

I have a round clear bottle in edc. 75 degrees usually means the alcohol percentage. then there must be some other material (like water).

Thanks for the explanation. I look forward to wearing it. Je Reviens was my mother's absolute favorite perfume and she always had the round blue bottles. As a child I loved to smell it and used to sneak a sniff from her bottle from time-to-time.

Hope this photo comes out. This is the Je Reviens Lotion that I won in an ebay auction. Still smells like the fragrance I used to know when I was a little girl.

I'm sorry it's sideways. I took the photo with my iPad.

I love vintage Je Reviens. Looooooooove it. I have a round bottle of edc, and a couple of other formulations. I never tried a "lotion". What is the texture like?

yes, it seems to be a problem with verticals.

lilybelle, it is good to see you again! It's been awhile.

Anyway, the "lotion" is just a name that is, or was, common in Europe and S. America. IMO it is similar to a cologne. At any rate, it smells wonderful. Do you know which animalic substance is in the base? It really jumped out just after the initial application.

Thank you, lpp. I am thrilled at the moment. The bottom of the bottle indicates (in raised glass letters) that the bottle is Lalique. The box is just a little darker than robin's-egg-blue. I really don't know it's age, but the whole package is in good shape.

Ah, good to know. I've been wondering about the "lotion" designation on vintage fragrances. I'm not sure what animalic you're getting in the base. I don't get civet or castoreum or anthing particularly dirty, but might it be some kind of delicious musk that's been restricted (?). Vintage Je Reviens is just...indescribable. And it's good to see you again, too, Curly.
