Hi everyone....your suggestions please. Interview coming up.
Kind of job/interview -Sushi chef position in a hotel. So this is not a full-blown suit & a tie type.
What I was thinking of wearing...
- Edition Blanche, Chanel
-Vintage, John Varvatos
Should I just not bother? Anything else in my little wardrobe/samples?
Oh, and wish me luck.
✔️Vintage John Varvatos !

I personally wouldn't wear anything to a job interview.

I'd say go fresh and clean, but with just a touch of perfume, which would interfere with food. Rive Gauche smells very clean, so I'd go with a little of that.
Italians never wish good luck ...
You might want to have a tiny sliver of Ivory soap in your pocket for the interview but wait until after you've left the hotel to apply an actual fragrance.
You really shouldn't wear anything.. if you do though go VERY VERY light....
in total agreement on the minimal/fresh and clean advice.
I don't think a chef or indeed a waiter should wear any fragrance whilst working. For your interview I wouldn't wear anything either. Good luck.
AHEB or if is possible Platinum Egoiste.
Sorry, couldn't resist. I agree with some of the others...either go light on the trigger with something fresh and clean, or don't wear anything at all.
(sigh)I kinda knew all along....I really shouldn't wear anything to a job interview, especially with establishments that work with food.
So. Nothing. But when I step out afterwards, perhaps a shot of Dior Homme ...
No fragrance at a job interview is your safest bet. After you land that job, then, lather up.
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve other individuals' acknowledgement or respect.
I agree with all the others. First impressions can be a make it or break it deal. I wouldn't wear anything until you are hired, then your personality can shine through.
Nothing. Just be really clean and brush your teeth well.
