Default Favorite Drugstore Scents of the 80's

Would anyone care to join me for a trip down memory lane?

My excursion down the Vintage scent rabbit hole has led me down yet another path! Indeed, I am remembering all sorts of other scents that I used to know.

I thought it would be fun to list some of our favorites from the 70 ' s and 80's. Produced that is, not necessarily introduced.

    I will start with :

    Coty Emeraude

    Coty Wild Musk

    Coty Sand & Sable

Among others, these fragrances being incidentally also first released during the 80s:

    Caractere by Daniel Hechter
    Quorum
    Marbert Homme

Though I did not use or purchase them during the 80s, discovered them much later.

It was my mum's 70th birthday a couple of weeks ago and one of her day to day scents while I was growing up was Pagan, which I had great pleasure in surprising her with a bottle of, on her birthday, just to see her face and bring back the memories of the 1970s

There are several that I have fond memories of ...Wind Song, Blue Jeans, Chantilly, Cie, Aperçu, Imprévu and those Coty Sweet Earth scents (though some of these were originally from the 70s, I'm pretty sure) but my all time favorite that's still one of my favorites is Fabergé Babe - I *adore* this stuff!

When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

Mid to late-70s - I wore Revlon Charlie, Revlon Jontue, Jovan musk oil. I liked those Coty Sweet Earth compacts that Evangeline mentioned. There was a line of Love's scents...Musky Jasmine, and an Earth scent were two I wore.
