By Killian Straight to heaven, IMO owning a bottle is a waste of money, lasted 2 hours on my skin, had to sell the bottle.

Current Chanel Egoiste... I get 8 hours + from most of my frags (including the ones known for their weak performance like GPH2 or Guerlain Homme). Egoiste lasts 3-4 hours, that's it. Wish I could get my hands on the vintage stuff...

Wow. Those are perfumes I rate as extraordinary longevity/projection. Weird.

From my collection of sample vials, I would say Virgin Island Water, though I haven't had the opportunity to test it from an actual sprayer. I also find Le Labo's Rose 31 to have poor projection and longevity on my skin. A shame, because it is truly remarkable when detectable.

Wow! Rose 31 lasts ages on my skin, and it really pushes out. I wouldn't call it a projection beast, but it's definitely not a skin scent. I'm so on the fence about buying a bottle, due to the price.

I get very good longevity from that one - assuming you're referring to Gucci Pour Homme, aka, GPH I or GPH 2003. It's odd though. It seems to go through two distinct phases. The first is an incense rich phase that projects and lasts around 4 hours. Then, it morphs into a very woody phase that doesn't project as much, and this lasts for another 4 to 6 hours, if not longer.

D&G the one is still my fave overall scent top to bottom. Still havnt smelled the newest reformulation but hopefully its fixed it back to what it use to be. Because like I said before I know my bigger bottle of it does not last as long as my old travel mini from around the time it came out.

+1... Luckily I sampled it first at Saks. Got only around 2 hours also. Same with BtB.

there are many other bottles that smell similar to the one and last a lot longer, and maybe even cheaper than the one.

5 star overall but poor longevity (3 stars or less, meaning 4 hrs of longevity max) for me are:

    - Agua Fresca by Adolfo Dominguez (4 hrs)
    - Comme un Evidence homme by Yves Rocher (4 hrs)
    - Zino By Davidoff (only current! version) and not! the vintage........(3 hrs)
    - Declaration Cologne (4 hrs)
    - Michael for Men (4 hrs)
    - R de Revillon (4 hrs)
    - Tabac original edc (4 hrs)

I have davidoff zino the current version i believe, from 2012, the cap won't close properly on the sprayer but it is a real strong scent, fills the whole room with one spray on a test strip.

Another one for me is Magellan by Fragonard. A shame because it smells heavenly but after two hours, don't even notice it's on me

Whats similar and is cheaper? Also certainly I have many frags that I think smell better then the one at certain points. But from top to bottom the one is still my fave that I have for now. I enjoy it the same through out. Where as lots of others either I just like the top or im just looking forward to the dry down.

If 5 star is a perfect score then I do not think any fragrance with poor longevity deserves it, since performance is also an aspect of the scent

Dolce and Gabanna The One. I'd buy 10 back up bottles if it lasted. As it stands I sold my only bottle- evaporates on me in 30 minutes...such a great scent - such a shame.

90% of Lutens fragrances have really poor longevity on me. Especially Bois de Violette and Borneo. Also Fougère Bengale by Parfum d'Empire is a stunning scent, which sadly is gone after barely 3-4 hours.

My sentiments exactly. I would never rate anything with poor longevity as a 5 star overall. Low longevity is a disqualifying characteristic.

Me too. Also Geranium Pour Monsieur. I guess light fragrances, with the smaller molecules, just aren't going to last long.

If I love a fragrance, I could care less if it has low longevity.

The first scent like this that pops in my mind is Hermessence Brin de Reglisse by Hermes

Indeed, Derby is especially the biggest culprit for poor longevity on my skin. Within 40 minutes I can barely detect it.

For me it can't be a 5 star frag if it has poor longevity. A true 5 star frag doesn't have shortcomings.
