Thank you, cazaubon, Trilby Lark and ClockworkAlice for the comments. Two bottles would be great. Unless one wants to invest in two expensive bottles, for refilling you usually have to wait until the bottle is empty but that is too close timing to fit into a Holiday schedule. May have to transfer the remainder into another bottle to get the refill without waiting til the last minute.

My 30ml bottle of Flower Le Parfum by Kenzo from maybe 8 years ago... maybe 9.
It’s definitely related to Flower, but it has strong notes of almond and the incense is turned up.

This is a sentimental perfume for me for a couple of reasons: 1) it’s a flanker of the first gift Mr. Kotori ever gave me: a bottle of Flower by Kenzo that he purchased on a trip to Spain when it first came out and we had only been dating for a few weeks; 2) I’ve worn it as a Christmas perfume many times, so often that the kiddos think it smells like Christmas; 3) because I bought my first bottle on our honeymoon in Paris 15 years ago. This was my 2nd bottle.

It’s long discontinued at this point, and while I know I can find it on the Bay now and then, I probably won’t replace it. I think I like this kind of thing a bit less than I used to, and I am ready to let go.

What a beautiful story, Kotori. Thank you for sharing it.

Zilpha, I thought L'Artisan was a newer brand! Niche is older than I thought.

Kotori, the way you explained the story of Flower by Kenzo proves that romanticism and realism are not mutually exclusive and can live side by side. Lovely story indeed.

My bottles are so old that they use the name of the founder of the company on them - Jean Laporte. He later sold L'Artisan Parfumeur and started Maître Parfumeur et Gantier!

I finished my 40 ml of Eau Parfumee au The Blanc. I’ve had this bottle since maybe 2012, and it was my second bottle of it. I have a backup bottle tester in 75 ml that I just took out, and I was able to reuse the smaller bottle’s cap. So I’m good to go!

Yeah I don’t usually purchase testers because I’m picky about having a cap. But I had ordered this one from my local mall kiosk that sources from Russia, and that’s what came. I talked them down, but I still bought it.

Congrats everyone on your recent finishes!

I finished my 30 ml bottle of Pink Grapefruit by The Body Shop. It's the quickest I have ever ran through a 30 ml bottle - so far. I do love grapefruits in all their forms, and this one wasn't bad at all - it was juicy, tart and refreshing. And inexpensive, that's why I could spray with abandon and without remorse. You were a good bottle, Pink Grapefruit. You were the best evening after shower spray or a fresh morning before shower scent, or a juicy grapefruity spray to freshen up my laundry or a room, or a layer scent to brighten up something else with. Rest well!
I may or may not repurchase in the future, who knows, but today I'm happy to move on to other scents.
