    Default The ONE without Oud

A new Arabian company has launched a new perfume, labeled "1" .

The pyramid shows oriental notes but no oud. Can this be a new trend to please the Western market?

See this link to the recent article, written by Jodi Battershell, in Fragrantica.

I was under the impression the west was already fairly acclimated to Oud?

True. And the firm plans to launch another line, with oud. I was just noticing that their first one was completely without oud. Quite frankly, it may be interesting to see (sniff) an Arabian perfume, very heavy on oriental notes, without that extra ingredient "oud".

A lot of Arabian perfumes do not contain oud....
Although the snippet regarding the releases all being marketed as Unisex is interesting :-

From the looks of the presentation, the price will cost an arm and a leg.

That's what I was thinking after seeing the bottle and box.
