It was a busy day. I purchased Alkemi as it somewhat resembles By Kilian's new Apple Brandy for about half the price and a back up of Dior Homme Intense because for a few minutes earlier today a 3.4oz bottle appeared on amazon for under $60 shipped from a third party seller (hopefully it wasn't a mistake)...

    Chanel Egoiste
    Guerlain Mitsouko EDT (1998)
    Dior Fahrenheit Summer

I got the Dior for Christmas and the Egoiste was also supposed to be a Christmas gift but after a bit of confusion Egoiste was ordered and came in yesterday, also got Mitsouko a few days ago so decided I'll just add these additions to the February thread.

Just pulled the trigger on two 3.3 ml samples of Blackbird and Bohemian Black by House of Matriarch! Also wanted to get the samples of Woo and Maj but resisted for now...hoping that maybe there will be some free samples or maybe some small discount code for next order next month (yeah shameless and penny pinching i know but what to do...)

Couple of days back, ordered one each of Agar Musk and Cedar Musk from Agarscentsbazzar...counting the days till it arrives.

That's a steal. I've seen some good deals recently from overstock (including DHI). Do you watch it on a daily basis or can you get e-mail updates about new stock/prices?

Actually, I just browse periodically for scents that I'm looking for. Occasionally I stumble upon deals like this.

I can't wait to read your thoughts on this one Chuck. I think its a great fragrance and reminds me of 80s powerhouses, in particular Dior Poison for some reason, though its been ages since I've smelled it. No doubt a high quality fragrance. I've only got a sample, which I'm content with.

What Rodolphe Deville smells like? I saw this one couple of times on local auctions, but there's virtually no info on it.

Great choice - you may want to try the Habit Rouge in EdP sometime, I have the 'red leather bottle' version and it is excellent.

    Hi Russlan,

Rodolphe Deville is a woody fragrance for men.
At first I can smell bergamot, lemon and cinnamon.
    After patchouli and woods appear.
In the dry down I feel a very strong oakmoss, leather, vetiter, and perhaps the civet.
This is a classic powerhouse and reminds me of Givenchy Gentleman.
I'm not very good at describing fragrances and my english does not help!
If you find it in a auction, my advice is go for it.
