Just walked out of Marshalls with a large bottle of Azzaro Pour Homme and Michael Jordan Flight Sport just for fun.

I finally "came out": I like Oud 27. It's weird. I probably shouldn't wear it at the office too often. But when I'm out for an evening? Yep. Smells like wine barrels in a winery cellar to me, or whiskey, moving into rose-tinged rich cedar. Grabbed a 50ml bottle today.

Onethinline, I get a lot of whiskey from Oud 27 too. Nice frag. I had ordered a bottle of Nasreen (custom scent by Micallef for Parfumerie Nasreen) and just got a mail today that it has arrived from France. Looking forward to smelling it.

HauteLook.com is having a sale on some Diptyque frags.

$60 for 100ml of Tam Dao? Yes please here's my money.
Also did a blind buy of L'Eau De Tarocco because I do enjoy the smell of blood oranges and could use a few more spring/summer fragrances.
I'll probably regret not getting the Neroli which is sold out

    EDIT: thanks NYCBoomBoom

Couldn't pass up a 100ml bottle of Diptyque Oyedo for $48 bucks at Hautelook.com!! I've been meaning to buy a bottle for a while now...glad I waited.

FWIW, the HauteLook sale is deceiving. There's not much there and when someone adds an item to their cart, you can't buy it until they either release it or process through. And that's with more than 1 quantity in stock! So there's a parade of people buying Tam Dao and you'll be lucky if you can get through the line.

EDIT: The EdT's are all sold out now.

Fragrance Notes: Citrus, Cedarwood, Moss, Vetiver

This will mean I have 3/4's of the 1892 Collection, but I'm fine stopping there since apparently Red is very floral.

Partially used 100ml bottle, but for a decent price. Blind-buy, but with all the positive things said by people I share similar tastes with, I think it'll be welcomed.

Due to the rumours of possible discontinuation and limited availability, I bit the bullet and bought 250ml of Dior's Vetiver This was the last one and only size in stock.

At appr. $275, was this a good deal? I think I saw a 125ml listed for $349 on Amazon.

The sales assistant was extremely knowledgable and friendly and threw in 3 x 7.5ml mini's: Ambre Nuit, Patchouli Imperial and Granville plus a sample of Eau Sauvage Parfum. The new Fahrenheit Parfum and Hypnotic Poison edp are due to arrive here towards end Feb

Congrats on the purchase. It's always good to be safe just in case the rumors are true concerning its impending demise. Now you have a lot to last you.

Check out my current NICHE SALE, you can't beat these prices!

Good job on that. I bought one of the last ones at the Neiman Marcus in San Francisco (though I got the 125ml bottle). At the time I bought it mostly because I didn't want to miss my chance, not because I was particularly in love with it from smelling on the strip. Since then, though, I've worn it several times and I adore it. Makes me happy all day. A simple but excellent vetiver.

Nice one. I picked up a bottle as well. I've heard the reformulation is still very good, but vintage is preferred.

I was one of the lucky ones to get a 100ml Tam Dao from Hautelook yesterday for $60. I was wearing some today from a sample I had of it and glad it was 1/2 off. I don't think I'd pay full price for TD but I really do like the fragrance a lot. It just seems not to last very long on me but I could be wrong because my nose gets fatigued rather quickly.
