You're very kind sir! I don't have the original on hand to compare, but based on what's left of my memory, it's pretty close.

After an email conversation with Mohsed at universalperfumesandcosmetics.com, I bought 100 ml of generic Black Afgano. When it arrived, I was surprised to see a 50 ml bottle of 1872 too. They both make outstanding room scents. A little tiny bit goes a very long way.

Today, my wife has decided that "Delphes" by Astier De Villatte gets the nod. Too sweet for my taste, but her decision trumps any influence on my part.

Scenting the house today, my wife chose a new Diptyque Candle - "Maquis" not used before - a nice collection of woods. Very fragrant. Don't know if it's a winner yet.
