Wonderful scent, and I like the older-style bottle.

Finally! A friend bought over a few bottles from Yohji in London. This re-release has been handled with care - a couple of days wearing it and I sense no dissonant notes, no cheap 'fallback' synthetics to 'accommodate modern tastes'. It may be a little more 'tightly packed' as a piece of work - something I notice with M, Chypre Palatin, Diaghilev - a lot of the more recent attempts at doing something of quality without the benefit of some of the more airy, spacious restricted ingredients, but it is still salubrious and makes you just want to a deep breath and go 'yeah'.
I hope it becomes more widely available.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
