Thread: Kenzo Jungle

I think Kenzo is one of the most underrated, if not THE most underrated designer houses. It's unfortunate though now, what they have become. Releasing boring redundant flankers, if even those at all. It looks like they may be out of the game now. Time for Peace is amazing, L'eau Par is an addicting lemon/citrus aquatic with a slight spicy twist to it, Power is a great floral, and a huge compliment getter. Haven't tried Tokyo, Jungle, and the whole "homme" line, but I am sure they are great.

Just for reference, can anybody maybe compare Jungle to something else more common, so I can get a better idea what it may smell like? Thanks.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    24 Platinum (2012)
    Burberry London (2006)
    Eau des Baux (2006)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

For the price it goes for online, why not?
Mine hasn't gone off - it was a dud longevity wise from when I first purchased it way back then, and still smells the same now.
Maybe this is a case of reformulation for the better?

Have you tried overspraying this and spraying on clothes and hair for better longevity? I imagine on the skin only it may lack longevity.

I've owned this three different times over several different periods, and I can say that this has never had bad longevity. It may just be your skin or nose. Its not a powerful fragrance but it is persistent and detectable. Its one of those recognizable smells that never seems loud but lasts an entire day. Could be a bad bottle or it could be nothing. That's the thing that drives me crazy about fragrances sometimes.
    Winter Rotation:

Thierry Mulger A*Men Taste of Fragrance
Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense for Men
    Iceberg The Fragrance for Men
    Byredo Black Saffron
    John Varvatos Original
    Dior Homme Intense
    Versace Man

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....

Count me in amongst the fans. This was when designers used to smell like actual fragrances.

    On hair????
    Never.

But I always spray six or more of any scent on skin under clothes (i.e. it infuses into clothes).

With all the stuff that is floating in the air anyway you may as well spray on your hair. Try it if you can but if not then spraying on clothes is just as good. Spray on the front of your clothes and not underneath and don't be afraid to spray more than six times if you're having longevity problems. With Kenzo Jungle I've found that I get olfactory fatigue rather quickly with this one so maybe it just seems to you that it doesn't last past two hours. I also think six sprays isn't enough for Jungle Homme and you should try for at least 15 with this one because the spray isn't all that powerful and more of a mist. Double or triple your dose of Jungle Homme and spray on the front of your clothes and see it that helps the longevity problem.
