    Default Successful blind buy ;-)

I haven't done many blind buys, though I've done a few blind swaps (most of which haven't worked out).
But in spite of fairly limited discussion of this frag, and based on what I did find about the notes, etc., I decided to take a chance on Joop Wild. This is pretty nice stuff, guys. You get the rum, and sort of a coconut note to me. It is like a tropical drink, I guess you could say. Definitely on the sweet side, but not over-the-top. Longevity is acceptable. Wife and my younger daughter (who is a huge scent fan) like it a lot.
Despite the tropical drink vibe, it works OK in winter... even the very cold winter we've been having here. Go 4 sprays on this one. It will not overpower or offend anyone.

Glad you are happy with it

I went nuts in on a blind buy of Shay and Blue Oud Alif the other day - really like it

To be honest, I blind buy far too often based on nothing more than opinions on this site

Congrats for your purchase. A fragrance likely to be tested more by me in future.

    Wild is very underrated.
I blind bought it over the summer and love it..
    Better than Frapin 1697..
    It has that Joop edge..
    Another gem is Courvoisier..

I was going to blind buy Joop Wild but kept going back and forth with the decision. I'm still on the fence because of the mixed reviews. Then again, some of my favorite fragrances have a ton of bad reviews.

I think it's safe to say that if you like boozy scents such as Pure Malt that you will like Wild
