I added my post above literally moments before I decided to give Balenciaga pour Homme -- one of my only other blind buys -- a second try. That did it. Sorry, Rive Gauche -- this one's looking like it'll be my big blind-buy winner.

Without places to buy many niche fragrances (and vintages) I have made more blind buys than I care to admit to. (I have changed my ways!) Here are some of the standouts...Vintage M7, Vintage Or Black, Amouage Opus VII, 50mL of Norma Kamali Incense. There must be more but these come to mind first.

This is SOOOOO interesting....Very few repeats on here in terms of blind buys...I mean, they are literally ALL over the board...I thought there would be a consistent ONE that everybody jumps on...not so, I guess...

This isn't technically a blind buy but more of a blind gift that asked for my birthday, Millésime Impérial by Creed.

First post here so hello all. Just blind bought a nearly full 50ml (1.7fl oz) bottle of YSL M7 vintage (2002 according to batchcode). I bought it after reading all about and have to say it is really growing on me, especially the drydown. I sprayed it on yesterday and can't really smell it now if I put my nose to my arm, but I get a lovely drifting aroma when I am not expecting it which is the M7. Am glad I bought it as a blind buy!

I confess, I caught the hype train heading to Pure Malt and Dior Homme Intense. It's a tie for these two as my best blind buy.
Maybe I would give it to Pure Malt as a good friend of mine brought it back from Japan.

I don't blind buy often. So the best and craziest blind buy was last year when MFK launched the Oud Mood trio. I ordered them straight from MFK because Neimans was taking forever to get them. I ended up hating them, being furious. Then a couple weeks later loving them to bits.

I will change my favorite blind buy to one I am surprised (in a way) that nobody has mentioned. Even if I don't like it, I am sure I will respect it and have no problem selling it (unlikely). Namely Zahd.

I finally blind bought this based on all of the ridiculously gushing reviews. I hate it. Thank God i only bought the 50ML. The extra $10 for the bigger bottle would have made it worse.

It smells like a cake. SUPER sweet.

    Amber Absolute? Really? No.
