Millesime Imperial.
It's great in warm weather, dresses up very well (although it also works in casual settings) and I get a good 7-8 hours out of it.

What would work well in business formal, or a black tie evening (one such event this summer), on a day probably around 95F/35C, evening at 85F/29C, and humidity of at least 70%? Longevity greater than 6 hours preferred, projection not a major factor, but please exclude skin scents. Yes, many hours are spent in air conditioned rooms, but not all of them.

"Thank GOD for the nose, for without it we would not be enjoying these beautiful created Scents" also Remember "Balance is everything and the key to appreciating "
No offense, but LDDM seems like it would be extremely cloying, especially with increased humidity and I typically don't have problems wearing "traditionally fall/winter" scents in the summer. I will +1 Hermes suggestion though
My vote goes to Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza.
+1 for Millesime Imperial
