Scent free. I also don't think I'll be even changing out of my pyjamas today. One of the pitfalls of working from home...
    It's all downhill from here.

    Edit

OK, maybe a couple of light sprays of Dior Homme Sport to freshen up.

I couldn't make up my mind between two of my favorite rose fragrances, so settled on spritzing one on each wrist.

On the left, Editions Parfums de Frederic Malle Une Rose and on the right Parfums Rosine Rose d'Homme. Une Rose smells to me like I've just opened a box of long-stemmed roses (or am out in a rose garden just after a watering or rain) - the whole rose, blooms, thorns, leaves... Wonderful. And Rose d'Homme has that fabulous powdery seet/spiciness overlaying the beautiful rose note. I'm in heaven either way today.

Une Rose notes: Rose, geranium, blue camomile, wine dregs, Turkish rose absolute, and truffle accord (patchouly accord, vetiver and castoreum absolute).

Rose d'Homme notes: Bergamot, citrus, mandarin, jasmine, rose, vanilla, lavender, leather, patchouli, vetiver.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

My sale thread has some of my underappreciated fragrances looking for a good, new home...

If I didn't just purchase Norma Kamali Incense this week, I would be buying this. I'm still contemplating pulling the trigger on a bottle no less...trying to keep my restraint lol.

In sync in my favorite rose scent (well, tied with Rose 31 by Le Labo which I don't own anymore):

Sa Majeste la Rose by Serge Lutens

I cannot remember who gave me a decant of this, in a swap that we did (sorry...I forgot!) but I am almost all gone. I hardly wear this that often, I have to be in the mood for it. It's just so large-and-in-charge. But I really think it is my favorite rose. When I think of rose, I think of this scent. And I really sprayed myself good today, I should be smelling like this all afternoon.

    Happy Valentine's Day!!!

"The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the "thinker." The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.

    You begin to awaken"
