Default Newbie with long history of swapping wants to gift samples/decants. CONUS only (sorry)

I've lurked here for a while and love that gifting is allowed. Please move down the posts to find the list of samples, etc. I am working on the learning curve of getting it right. LOL

Such a great site this is!

    Greetings and hugs, Dotti.
Your good-hearted spirit is so welcome here.
You can start a thread in the swap area to call attention to your MUA list.
    http://www.basenotes.net/forums/29-Items-for-Swap

As I think you know, you can post particular items in:
    http://www.basenotes.net/threads/295...to-a-good-home

I just looked back at my MUA mail. You and I swapped back in 2008! We have to stop meeting like this.

The OP doesn't meet criteria yet for starting a thread in the BN Marketplace, but she will when she's been a member for 1 year.

BN rules prohibit posting swap (or selling or buying) offers on the discussion forums, but anyone can give a freebie!

    Hi nurserachet,

As there is already a 'Giveaway' thread here, we'll merge them, although there is no 'swap' facility outside the Marketplace.

Any named items to be donated should be listed in this thread.

Please refer to the Marketplace Rules & Site rules before proceeding.

It seems to be usual in this thread to state the items of interest when claiming so please proceed that in way.

For those who have not participated previously, members offer to gift the occasional item here.

Members also tend to reciprocate in some way by offering items of their own to be claimed by other members reading the thread, although comments from those who have been participating in this thread in the past will be welcome as I'm not an expert on how it is normally run, although it is clear that it should not be run as a direct swap venue.

I am offering this lovely purse spray, with 5ml Balmain de Balmain extrait to the first person who pm's me, and who is a true lover of the bitter chypre (I will be checking your wardrobe.)
That's because I am a really mean and niggardly miser.

And I don't want this precious juice to end up at the back of somebody's reject drawer, I want it to be enjoyed and cherished.
It seems nary impossible to get the extrait at all, I had to order it in Germany, but it is richer and deeper than the EdT And of course it has been discontinued so... Snifff.... This is it... Fini....

Sorry to interrupt (again), but it's worth pointing out at this juncture that this thread is not in the Marketplace so any interaction here is entirely at members' own risk.

I've never participated here but would be inclined (as danieq & some others have done in the past) to maybe qualify who may respond to offers (members for x length of time/x number of posts) in order to minimise the risk.

O.K - As some of us may be aware, there is a need to have rules where new people (and Mods) may easily find them so, as the Mod Team has discussed the matter over the past few days, we'll reinstate this thread & sticky the rules for future reference.

Apologies for any offence caused by closing this thread.

If new participants would like to check out the rules so they understand what happens in this thread, they are here.

Hey twolf! Good to see ya!

Not claiming here as I have claimed recently but I am very curious about that JP scent, how is that banana note? Is it a sweet banana or more like a banana peel? Kinda been looking for a banana fume for a while but rarely see it listed as a note. And didn't find *any* banana in Sicily..strange.

Heure Exquise decant up for grabs about 10-12 mls.. please follow rules as stated by Stuigi recently. US only, thanks. claimed.

Kalli, it is a sweet sandalwood-vanilla scent, the banana note is imaginary and not very pronounced, but it is sweet and can become cloying. I do not detect much of a banana peel in it, but it may be just my skin.

I have edited the list to reflect the items that have been claimed.

There is definitely a mandarin/orange note! (And a licorice/root beer note!).
