    Default Favourite tonka based fragrances?

I do enjoy this old bean whenever it pops up, what are your recommendations for frags that are heavy on the old tonka?

    Thanks

I am a fan of Vetiver Tonka (Hermessence). It's great for the spring season!

Tonka Imperiale by Hermes. Have a sample of this and will be purchasing a full bottle very soon. Accompanied with a nice almond note, this is one to check out.

I'm not big on tonka, but I do enjoy it in Hermes Vetiver Tonka. There's just the right amount of tonka in there, underneath all the vetiver, it's noticeable but not overly powerful.

Allure and its flankers are notorious for tonka in the creamy, sweet drydown which I personally find to be a bit too much. Versace Pour Homme is a fresher version of tonka that I like. I really struggle with sweet fragrances and this one is pretty balanced to my nose. A lot of people say it is a AHS ripoff, and they do smell similar in the top but the respective drydowns are much different IMO

^^^ Same here. I wear it year round. Though keep in mind, our winters are ~75F daytime, maybe 60F at night, so not exactly freezing cold like in some other parts of the world.

So far not a fan of going the tonka, and I tolerate it as a supporting note, but I'm prepared to consider the possibility that there may be a tonka centric scent out there with my name on it.
