    Dior Homme Intense

Giving this another go. The first time I wore it I had to scrub it. This time I was careful not to get any on my clothes, which seems to have prevented it from turning into the overly sweet vanilla bomb I experienced last time. Quite pleasant

I didn't get much vanilla in the newer DHI, but loads of iris, could possibly be that you're wearing some vintage.

Not sure. I just bought a small sample from surrender to chance, so I suspect it is the most recent formulation. Currently it is wearing as iris prominent. Like a smoother, more refined version of DH. It's just that vanilla sometimes leaps out at me.
I have other scents I adjust the performance of by varying how much, if any, gets on my undershirt, etc. LIDGE is one of them. I get far more aniseed and dry patchouli with a bit on my clothing, whilst the vanilla becomes more prominent if I don't get any on the clothe.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Yes, I am wearing this, my skin will not melt or flake off and chances are at least one person will say "Ooh you smell good, what do you have on?" One reason I wear a lot of cheapies, especially on the days I teach classes (Karate/martial arts) is that nearly every time I wear an ultra cheapie someone will comment on it, when I wear relatively "good stuff" they almost never do - except for AdG and Armani Code. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

"The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the "thinker." The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.

    You begin to awaken"
