Default silly Guardian article "TV perfume: how to smell like Hannibal Lecter or Jeremy Clarkson"

Apparently, "Gaumont International Television, NBC Universal and brand-marketing firm Evolution have announced plans to create a perfume based on the hit NBC show Hannibal."

inspired by this news, there is today a silly article in The Guardian's (UK newspaper) blog wondering what fragrances inspired by Don Draper and other tv characters would smell like. From the comments section, I learn that Mad Men's Joanie wears Shalimar. Nice.

    Anyway, here's the article:

Spin-off question: who's your favorite tv character and what fragrance would they wear?

Found it entertaining to read although you're right, a tad silly.

Fragrance as a TV tie-in. Marketing can do anything.

Just look at 24 Gold and that whole line of scents based on the 24 TV show.

'Tis a veritable steaming pile of ordure. Kudos to the author though for making a living from writing such vacuous guff.
