I loved Apple Brandy myself. Would you be able to review Vodka onthe Rocks? Its one of the few times I've done a blind buy. Of course, I do appreciate an icy vodka soda.

Unfortunately, I tried it back in January and even then only on paper so I can't really do it justice (I was drenched in other scents from a day of sampling). I consider Vodka on the Rocks more of a spring/summer scent, whereas Apple Brandy is more fall/winter. I own Back to Black and Bamboo Harmony and I would say that Apple Brandy is comparable to Back to Black while Vodka on the Rocks is comparable to Bamboo Harmony (using comparable in a very loose way here). Where one is dense and warm the other is 'refreshing'. I know some deride Bamboo Harmony as being unoriginal, so I'll say that I don't think you'll find that's the case with Vodka on the Rocks. Although I've only really delved into fragrances for the past year and a half, there's not much I can compare Vodka on the Rocks to, so I feel somewhat safe in saying that it's quite original. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I bought Dior Fahrenheit.... It FINALLY clicked and now I don't know how I didn't understand this in the first place. What an awesome fragrance. It's a lot less "IN YOUR FACE" as I thought it would be... It's very nice and a must have to anyone's wardrobe in my opinion. I really don't get the whole gasoline vibe from it like I did when I first tried it out. It just smells so beautiful!!! It has instantly been put in my top 6.

That's a nice one. For the price, I don't think you can find a much better summer scent. Very underrated/unknown.

Was flying through the El Paso, TX airport and came across this in a gift shop. I thought the bottle was kind of tacky in a fun kitschy way and the juice itself wasn't half bad, so I picked up a bottle.

I guess I can't make fun of Walmart anymore....

This afternoon I was waking around Walmart where I discovered a 2.5 OZ bottle of Shalimar EDC in the clearance section. I immediately snatched it up but couldn't find a price anywhere. When I went to check out, the box would not scan correctly. The cashier asked me how much it cost, and I told her that it was the only bottle left and it was in the clearance section. I even voluntarily suggested that $40-45 would be a fair price (after doing a quick check on Fragrancenet). She called the manager for a price check, who said he had never seen that fragrance in the store before and said he would sell it to me for $9.99 just to get it out of there!

The batch code on the box and bottle match, and the actual fragrance smells perfectly. According to Checkcosmetic.net (which I know can be sketchy at best), it's from April 2011. The box and bottle look legit, and for what it's worth, it says "Made in France" on the back next to some Arabic writing.

Needless to say, I'm one happy camper!
