Hasn't arrived yet. Should be here early next week. Yes, notes sound interesting. Was made to commemorate
the 111th anniversary of Bergdorf Goodman. Only available there is my understanding. I'll be back with impressions once I get it.

The red boxes are from The People of a The Labyrinths, no? I think Luctor et Emergo comes in the red box. Did you get both the Eau de Parfum and the Parfum hedonist222? I love that scent. And A.maze too. It was a rose/Oud scent way before everyone else was doing that combo. Sort of like Dark Rose by Czech & Speake.

A fantastic scent for upcoming warm weather. I have wonderful memories of a couple summers ago and that scent. The way the florals and mint combine is so natural and bracing.

Yep, you're right Mike. The red boxes are Luctor et Emergo. One is the edp, the other is the body cream. I didn't know it came in parfum!
I know it comes in edt & edp.
The edt & edp are different enough to justify owning both Mike.

    I haven't tried A.Maze.

I have smelled Dark Rose & love it. Rose & saffron (what ladies here use in a homemade concentrate oil).

AH you're right there's an EdT and EdP. I was thinking of A.maze which comes in EdP and Parfum. Please sample it when you can. It really impressed me when I had a decant of it. Very dark.

Wow, Luctor et Emergo Body Cream. ((jealous)) Enjoy!

Osmanthus Interdite by Parfum d'Empire, with a massive 40% discount on actual price. I already purchased Equistrius last week from the same shop and I was not really planning to get this as well, as I am not sure if I like it that much as well, but... after discovering that Corticchiato just confirmed the "price increase" for next season (I've heard it will jump from 91 EUR to 120), I did that even just as an investment

    YSL - M7 (vtg)

If you are looking for a versatile suede it fits the bill quite nicely, IMO. Opens with lemon and fresh pine notes and a light rubbery accord that makes it's presence felt early on (think Bvlgari Black). The drydown is a combination of suede, soft vanilla, and saffron with a little iris and vetiver. Despite the daft marketing I find nothing particularly erotic or controversial about it. Warm, comforting, and unisex - longevity seems good too.

Thanks Hednic! I have to admit I felt some buyers remorse on this one just after buying it. I like it very much, but it's the drydown that's daunting for me. Feels a bit like and old man. I think I might have to acquire the smell of the drydown a bit.

I think this is a really nice scent. I have a nice decant but also think in terms of a full bottle. Just makes it harder to throw it in with the other three I am considering.

I have some initial thoughts on the Bel Ami Vetiver thread.... With respect to vintage Bel Ami... This one is far from a replacement (Puredistance M is closer to that), but rather a very worthy flanker that definitely has ties to Bel Ami and unlike so many others that use a famous classic name to drum up interest for a lackluster effort, Bel Ami Vetiver is really an excellent release in its own right... One worthy of being tied to the original's great name (even if only as a flanker). Performance is outstanding as well... 12 hours and still going strong on skin.
