"The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the "thinker." The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.

    You begin to awaken"

    Good afternoon, all!
Bitter cold today. Snow & ice so if you are traveling in or through Oklahoma, please exercise caution. Thunder take on Charlotte and the Barons play San Antonio. I'm treating myself to Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille today. Haven't worn it in a while and I'm actually enjoying the warmth it conveys.

Trapped inside all day due to snow storm. Testing new stuff for fun.

SotD: Valentino Uomo. Not bad, safe for work, some similarities to Dior Homme, and Dior Homme Eau for Men, as noted elsewhere on BN. A new arrival at my local Nordstrom. Winner: Designer Release of the Week.

SotA: Balenciaga pour Homme. New to me, but a BN favorite. The citrus top notes are challenging, but the rich middle and smooth drydown are worth waiting for.

SotE: vintage Dior Homme. Academy Awards party at my house tonight, I wanted something festive, but warm for a freezing cold night.
