Bond no.9 Wall Street has an excellent melon note - but then a wet dog may show up and jump all over you. Definitely test before you buy!

There's always been a cost per ml restriction here. At fragrancenet's discounted price, I don't think it qualifies to be split here. I could be wrong.

While Millesime Imperial is best when it comes to melon, Heeley - Figuier has a distinctive melon note.

The most obvious choice - MI - has been beaten to death already.

Considering the price constraint, by far my fave for a cheap melon would be Polo Blue. It's $40.15 on Fragrancenet for a 2.5oz.

The melon is a non-descript, generic melon, but I'd call it closest to watermelon to my nose, Like most melon fragrances, longevity is short but it's quite pleasant, if a little mainstream-smelling, for that duration. Pretty ideal for Summer casual and post-gym wearing.

In the proposed price range, this is my choice.

Might be, but worth a sampling nonetheless! So thanks for the recommendation.

A melon note is featured in CK One Summer '14, but not too prominent. The fragrance itself it unisex

I think lacoste essential has a melon note. And surprisingly playboy Miami has a nice watermelon note that lasts for a bit.

I still haven't bought any Paris Hilton for Men, but "sampled" it again the other day from a tester and about 5 hours later was eating a chicken sandwich and still smelled the distinct scent of melons on the back of my hand - it's fruity, yep, it is, but it's a good fruity. I may have to spend $9.99 and add it to the horde of cheapies.

Never knew there was so much MI love here. I love it too and will be my SOTD most of next week. I get good longevity, around 6 hours and its never overpowering, just understated sophistication.

Is is just me, or does Nautica Voyage have a bit of a melon vibe?

I bought a small bottle for $5.99 at Ross just to check it out, it's a decent summer fragrance. And I sort of thought "cantaloupe" when I wore it....

Ultramarine incense, really? Hmmm... I remember liking the scent alright, just didn't recall the melon. Might have to pick up another sample. Thanks.

Yep, Millesime Imperial is just a gorgeous scent. You won't get much better than MI if you want melon. It smells so damned good.
