I was happy to take Vesrim for a spin recently, but due to other writing commitments, I was a little slow in responding. While I sent Ryan some more critical thoughts, I do want to join the above voices and add that Vesrim demonstrates some real potential. What struck me the most is that the main notes are handled with proficiency, playing very well together overall. I'm not the biggest fan of vetiver, but I like the way it's deployed here, and it reminded me of Vero's use of vetiver in Onda EdP in that you have to strain to really identify as such. Vesrim's affable and presents no real challenges—it's a very easy scent to get along with. It's a tad sweet at the outset for me, and I do think there's more work that could be done to polish it to the level of sheen that it deserves, but I'm categorically impressed, and I'd urge those of you who dig semi-sweet, exotic, bright scents to take it for a spin.
