Whatever she wanted me to wear!
Inspired by Throwbookatface's recent thread and the fact I'm getting married in a few months;
If you are married, what scent did you wear for your wedding day, and if you aren't what scent would you choose?
I haven't decided yet for my wedding day. Edition blanche and Dior homme cologne are strong contenders at the moment.
Whatever she wanted me to wear!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
If I were to get married today, I would wear Aventus, since I love it, and it's my wife's favorite. When I did marry her 10 years ago (or has it been 11? hmmm...) I don't have any idea what I wore. I am guessing either some body spray of some sort - or nothing.
1. Creed - Spice & Wood
2. Creed - Aventus
3. Ormonde Jayne - Black Gold
4. by Kilian - Incense Oud
5. Puredistance - Black
6. House of Matriarch - Blackbird
7. Armani Privé - Oud Royal
8. by Kilian - Cruel Intentions
9. Creed - Royal English Leather
10. Brückner - Aoud 1
I wore Balafre by Lancome on my wedding day - a long time ago.

I will wear Dior Vetiver or this batch of perfume extrait I made that my gf adores most likely when I get married to my girlfriend, some time down the road.
Unmarried and never was married before, so unsure whether my opinion counts- but my ideal fragrance for this occasion would most likely Armani Eau pour Homme.
Tom Ford - Neroli Portifino in Las Vegas spring.

Congratulations, Sol Invictus,
I'd go with Edition Blanche. Classy.
First, congrats, Sol Invictus!
On my church wedding four years ago, I wore Platinum Egoiste. I'd definitely wear something else when my wife and I renew our vows.
Millesime Imperial. Congrats!
Congratulations ! I wore Lagerfeld (vintage).
If you're someone like Grace Kelly or if you have married/are marrying someone like Grace Kelly it'd be Creed's Fleurissimo.
I'd wear something flowery now, as that is what Mr. Fantastic likes best.
I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
My Sales Thread - A Collection Purge
My fiancés favorite is TF Tuscan leather, but since our wedding is in July I think I'm going to have to go with Aventus.

Edition Blanche for sure.
I hated perfume and people who wore it so I was scent free.
Doing it again, I'm not sure. I got married at a world heritage listed Shinto shrine in Kyoto in fall when the autumn colors were at their peak, so something respectful of the setting and time that wouldn't try to become the center of attention. Maybe a light application of Tam Dao. Not CdG's Kyoto because of the association with Buddhism and therefore death and funerals in Japan.

28 years ago, it was Dunhill Edition.
Today, I could quite happily wear it again..........But now that I have more to choose from, I could choose from the following, depending on the weather and my mood....
Lalique Pour Homme
Clive Christian X
Habit Rouge EDP
Pour Lui Oscar de la Renta
Tiffany for Men or Chanel Pour Monsieur
First of all, congratulations!
I wore Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme (vintage) because it was one of my signature scents at the time I first my wife. Interestingly enough my wife wore Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue (as her "something Blue") on our wedding. This was 9 years ago this month.
I wore Armani Eau Pour Homme. And yes it is just about perfect for the occasion.

On my wedding day November 15th, 2003 I wore Jacques Fath Yang - my signature scent of that time - and my wife wore Jacques Fath Yin, respectively.

I'd and I'll wear Jubilation XXV. I always save it for best time =)
I have a decant of Creed Windsor that I rarely wear. I'd certainly break it out for this occasion.
Unless she wanted me to wear something else
Lapidus pour Homme (liberally applied) to her Scherrer 2 (late 80s)
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
"Thank GOD for the nose, for without it we would not be enjoying these beautiful created Scents" also Remember "Balance is everything and the key to appreciating "
I held a poll for my website too... http://www.basenotes.net/threads/364...coming-wedding
But I ignored the result and in the end just went with Aventus. I have to say - I'd never be able to justify wearing Aventus looking back. As a BN / perfume enthusiast, I could never be pleased with any one scent I suppose, especially given that we are constantly changing our wardrobes.
Edition Blanche? Some guys have watched too much Robes08
I'd personally pick something like Aqua Fahrenheit, Bvlgari Man Extreme, Prada Luna Rossa or something like Armani Attitude if it was in the winter.
Congrats to the OP.
Wife and I got married in August 2012 and she requested that I wear Creed Windsor while she wore Creed Royal Ceylan. I actually wanted to wear Chanel Allure Edition Blanche since we were in Jamaica when we got married.
I might wear Dolce & Gabbana By and a matching tiger-print suit. Whatever you feel best in!
It will of course be Chanel Égoïste, when I marry my fiancée! I would not have it any other way, and I doubt she would either, as it is her favorite fragrance on me
I wore Déclaration.
Im married now but really wasnt into the "cologne thing" until a few years ago...But if I did it again...Probably, Clive Christian C, MFK Oud, or Helmut Lang Cuiron...
CURRENT TOP TEN FOR FALL/WINTER:
1.) Helmut Lang Cuiron (Vintage)
2.) Tiffany for men (Vintage)
3.) Bel Ami Vetiver
4.) New York Intense
5.) Nicolai Carre d'as
6.) Cartier Declaration Essence
7.) Frederick Malle's VE/Sycomore
8.) Houbigant Fougere Royale
9.) L'Homme Sage
10.) Bond no. 9 Scent of Peace
It was Creed Vetiver (1948).
It was discontinued shortly after I got married, which is a shame, as it's meant that in recent years I haven't worn it nearly as much as I used to...
Right now, it'd likely be Amouage Reflection. If not, it would likely be something else from Amouage. MAYBE Beloved, or something from By Killian.
1. Amouage Reflection Man
2. Gucci Pour Homme II
3. Divine L'Homme Sage
4. By Killian Back to Black
5. Amouage Interlude
6. Hermèssence Ambre Narguilé (2004)
7. By Killian Rose Oud
8. Serge Lutens Five O'Clock Au Gingembre (2008)
9. Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM pour Homme
10.Creed Royal Water
Tsar. Now I'd wear Clive Christian X for Men.
I wore Gianfranco Ferre Pour Homme back in July of 1991. Brown/Black Bottle, Orange/Bronze Glass.
Today, hmmmm...I'd probably go with Terre d'Hermes.
Interesting that both of these scents have a sort of bitter orange component.
