Default A trip down memory lane...

What was your first go-to fragrance? You know, the one you decided, "Hey, I'm gonna wear this on a regular basis." I had a bottle of the green Polo when I was in high school, but I thought it smelled awful on me, so I never wore it. I didn't wear anything on a regular basis until Obsession, and man did that get the compliments! But really, the first one that I claimed as "mine" was Gucci Nobile, in the early 90s. What a great masculine scent that was. I remember also enjoying Claiborne, in that red black and frosted bottle. LOVED that stuff when I was younger. But it's that Gucci that brings back such wonderful fragrant memories. Oh, and Donn Karan too, in the bottle the supposedly was modeled after the gearshift in a sportscar? It was such a bold scent that I hardly ever wore it, but I remember what a strong grip it had on me.

Ah, those days in my early 20s...Now I'm content with just about anything by Chanel or Dior, with Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille thrown in there for the colder weather.

My first go to fragrance with any conviction was probably Balafre by Lancome.

Another one for Polo Sport, closely followed by Cool Water. A couple of years later I discovered Polo Safari.

Eau Sauvage and Pierre Cardin Pour Monsiuer - to a lesser degree YSL Opium women's version I still wear both of the first 2 now and then I would wear Eau Sauvage a LOT more if I didn't have so many others - it's prolly my all time fave scent. I started wearing it at 16 and the PC at about 19-20.

Polo, polo sport & cool water will always have a special place in my heart. I can remember the first time I ever smelled polo. It changed my world and as a 7th grader, I decided smelling good was necessary.
My top 5 changes like the Tennessee weather.

Yep! But back then, all my friends were "that guy" too. Comb in back pocket. Collar popped. Polo everywhere. Good times.
