I know this is the Male Fragrance section, but I am sure there are Females here as well, and I'm sure we all would like to hear from each other.
Guys: What do you like girls to smell like? What do you like to smell like?
Girls: What do you like guys to smell like? And what do you like to smell like?
Brand preference? Specific Fragrance Preference? Specific Ingredient Preference?

Love to smell rose, iris and orange blossom on my wife.
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals don't warrant or deserve other individuals' acknowledgement or respect.
Not so much a specific brand preference, but so far, I generally liked when citrus, gourmand and some, not all, floral notes, oddly sometimes even masculine fragrances (may sound strange, but be stunning on certain ladies) was worn.
It's beginning to look like market research here....
I am about to drop some, possibly, uncharted ideas on you guys here in a few weeks.

What sort of 'uncharted ideas' ?
If making for oneself, something that one personally likes is usually a nice idea.
I am currently getting materials to do steam extracts on Benzoin Gum, Orange Peels, Cinnamon and Spearmint. I am also getting some Menthol Crystals, and a few solvents. (If anyone can share what this "Perfumers Alcohol" is that I have been hearing about, I would appreciate it).
I don't want to give too much away before I get into the experimentation myself, so I can just take pictures and show everyone how to do it themselves. But Benzoic Acid and Cinnamaldehyde have some interesting reactions that can be explored.
There are some threads about alcohol in the DIY Section.
basenotes perfumer's alcohol
There are different sorts of alcohol used - the threads have info on them.
This sticky thread might be handy too.
Like to smell Rose on my lady.
There are just some VERY simple molecules that have yet to be explored.
1. good! Feminine or masculine, doesn't matter to me, just appeasing to me.
2. A god damn man! I know most of you wouldn't have a clue what that is.
Thing is, we don't tend to walk round wearing blindfolds...
Generally, I like citrus / fruity / floral scents on a woman. Soft and sweet strike me as feminine attributes.
1. Creed - Spice & Wood
2. Creed - Aventus
3. Ormonde Jayne - Black Gold
4. by Kilian - Incense Oud
5. Puredistance - Black
6. House of Matriarch - Blackbird
7. Armani Privé - Oud Royal
8. by Kilian - Cruel Intentions
9. Creed - Royal English Leather
10. Brückner - Aoud 1
I've smelled TONS and TONS of sexy fragrances from female passerby's. I just dont the name of them, nor am I familiar with the notes.
I like to wear Bond No 9 New York Patchouli.
My absolute favorite on my gf is Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey. Really gets me going lol.
I like men to smell like men, like their natural warm skin scent. How a man smells after he works out or after he's been intimate with a woman. Of course he would have had to be clean before the workout(s). If he happens to have Bvlgari Black on him on top of that, I just might have to stop myself from pouncing on him. JPG le male, YSL la unit, Gio, Curve, Chrome, Tom Ford Oud Wood.
I like to smell like warm sweet skin too, gourmands and lately getting into fresh soft florals, yet to find a floral I love tho. I think I got the handle on the warm woody gourmands, but not on the fresh florals/fruity yet. I'll be taking notes on the type of fresh clean fruity/florals men like on women..
When I get in from work, I like my partner to smell like cooking fat
Usually means she has included some chips in the evening meal
Sounds like a research and development mole.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
I have NO real job, let alone one with a forward thinking perfume factory.
I am just someone that makes his own incense, that has decided to look into fragrance because when doing some Chemistry research, I found that there are many simple things that have not been considered by the historical perfume community.
Mainly while researching b-Damascone was when I realized the possibilities.
Although I don't really like flowery scents on a male I do like sweets scents, like Aquolina Blue Sugar, Lempicka, Angel etc. Those are cozy, lets watch a movie in the couch and bury my nose on your neck type of scents for me.
That makes sense, kinda like how old spice is just what the spice traders used to smell like when they got off the boats from India or whatever. Men should smell like they've been doing something.
Speaking of sweet smelling for movies and stuff, I know they have like mint spray, but is there mouth perfume?
