    Default Exploring oriental frags!

    Hey!
I just recently rediscovered Chanel Coco, and while I love it, it's a bit busy and "sharp" for everyday wear. Looking around for something in the same style, but smoother maybe? I've read about Samsara and it sounds interesting but I've never smelled it and can't find a place to sample it closeby.

What are your favorite orientals? Feminine or masculine doesn't matter.

One I really enjoy is Gengis Khan by Marc De La Morandiere

Are you in the UK? Most larger branches of Boots or Jon Lewis have Samsara, & l highly recommend it.

Then there's Shalimar, L'Instant, Dior Addict & YSL Cinema, to name a few...

    +1 Shalimar and Addict.

I'd also try Midnight in Paris by VC&A.

Lutens is quite a reference for "Oriental" modern fragrances.
