Thread: Thierry Mugler A*Men Urban
Has anyone smelled this cologne before? Any thoughts? Thanks.ANGELURBM.jpg
Oh, and welcome to Basenotes ;o)
Mailed Mugler UK days ago to enquire about this. No reply. I guess they're too busy counting money.
What's more surprising to me is with the number of die-hard Mugler, A*Men, & Pure collector fanatics on BN, no one has actually bought Urban & provided info if this is just original A*Men in different packaging, or a different scent
It's probably just a matter of time before that happens though. Someone will be curious enough.
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve other individuals' acknowledgement or respect.
Wasn't in Selfridges recently -- looks a bit sick -- but not in the 'street' sense
I see it appears now on fragrancex, as new arrival: http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_..._products.html
And reaching out to them won't do anything?>
Just received A*Men Urban from FragranceX (together with Pure Leather) - both blind buys.
I do not have A*Men and can only remember it from the times I tried it in the malls... A*Men Urban is more delicate, and with prominent honeyed floral notes. Compared to A*Men, it is less linear. Reminds me of a gentler, less intense version of Killian's Back to Black.
I also do not detect A*Men's famous tar note in A*Men Urban... what an irony though.
But this is only an initial first impression.
Like the Gold Limited Edition version, this comes in a refillable flacon which is very solid and feels like a military grade army green steel. Like the flacon lots!
