Default Now you can eat Angel too!

    From pursuitist.com:
Thierry Mugler is preparing to launch Angel Eau Sucrée, the summer 2014 limited edition of the fragrance Angel. In honor of the event, French pastry maker Fauchon decided to transform the iconic fragrance into a treat for the taste buds with a special edition dessert: a sweet éclair filled with marbled cream.

The composition of the fragrance has been translated into a gourmet treat filled with a rich marbled cream. At its center, the crunchy cake contains a bitter chocolate and almond praline, which contrasts with the Madagascar vanilla cream, accented by a touch of lemon and caramel.

It sounds good, doesn't it? I'd love to try it

Thanks for this info. Love Fauchon! Never fail to make a visit there when in Paris.

I would have made an Angel Food Cake
Tom Ford Splits:Noir de Noir, Neroli Portofino, Lavender Palm, Plum Japonais, Champacca Absolute, Tobacco Vanille ONE LEFT: Italian Cypress, Patchouli Absolu, Amber Absolute, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

Oh my. I wonder if any of the Fauchons in Tokyo will have it. Sounds delicious.

I love experimentation! People mixing senses up (olfaction+taste) to achieve something surprising have all my support: perfume shouldn't be fun, above all?

Yikes - no thanks, if it's anything like its bottle lol. Heavy smells = heavy tastes!

It's a great idea. Any one who has not tried angel probably will after one of these.

Great indeed and also quite likely to be tasty (and why not, great smelling while being savored).

Sorry for bumping this thread again with such delay, but the idea of Angel chocolates also crossed my mind- purely accidentally and unrelated to any existing delicacy. As well as pastries/chocolates/various desserts inspired by other fragrances more or less easy to transpose into edible form- like several of the more gourmand Guerlains, Chanel Coco Noir, the strawberry-mocha notes in Rochas Man, even DHI etc.
