No better way to start the week than to arrive in the office and find a perfume package!

Bought ELDO Fat Electrician. I find this scent very original, very wearable and very affordable. Have sampled a good 1/3rd of the ELDO line, so looking forward to test the rest (bought the -almost- complete sample pack while I was at it).

Creed - Virgin Island Water Shower Gel & Deodrant Stick. I think it was the last deodrant in the UK left at Harrods as Orange Square have also been out of stock, so im happy to manage to get hold of that, as this company seems to take forever and a day to produce more.

    I love that one.

Following learned discussion here (and thanks particularly to Andre Moreau and his blog), I picked up a vintage (2006 anyway) bottle of Versace L'Homme, with which I am highly delighted. I got a sample of the latest formula a few years ago and wasn't too impressed. This is much more substantial.

I won a partial vintage bottle of Jicky extrait for $66. Seller said it was previously sealed until recently and was out of sunlight. The seller did say it still smells great so I'm excited to get it. I guess worse case I can always return it if it turns out to have gone bad.

Awesome! I am gonna order something from renegne - he graciously sent me early samples of Vesrim and Amber Tar (Atar). I enjoyed the somber, smoky feel of Atar, but I really liked Vesrim's woody/vetivery/sandalwoody kind of scent for everyday type fragrance. His new Limed also sounds very interesting, as we enter the summer season.

I went to Hong Kong Diptyque boutique today to try the new Eau Lavando; they dont have it yet. But you know what, I checked an old tester bottle of LAutre and I liked a lot! So I bought a 100 ml square bottle. I didnt found offensive or stinky; at the beggining it reminds me Eau DHermes but more lemongrassy and herbal, basenotes are drier and autumnal tan the Hermes

I love DHC2013 - one of my best purchases last year. Congratulations!

I have ordered from Beauty Encounter about 6 or 7 times - customer service was a little lacking, and shipping was painfully slow (but haven't ordered from them in over a year, so both of those things may have been improved upon since then) - but otherwise reliable.
