Default fragrances you associate with rain

do you have have any fragrances that you turn to when it rains or that brings to mind the rain?

For me, Lolita Lempicka au masculin seems appropriate for the damp, dreary weather.

No particular fragrance, but tend to hunt for a scent that will cheer me up as I find rain a bit depressing.

    Dior Fahrenheit
    YSL M7
    AdP Colonia Oud
    Narciso Rodriguez for Him
    CdG 2 Man

True +1 for Encre Noire, reminds me of wet rain hitting the grass.

Narciso Rodriguez for Him reminds me of rain hitting the asphalt.

Ecko Green kind of reminds me of a soft rain on a sunny day.

Jacomo Paradox Green reminds me of the smell of rain mixed with freshly cut grass.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    Paul Smith Man (2009)
    Burberry London (2006)
    Prada Amber pour Homme (2006)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

Slumberhouse's Mare is the one scent that I've found that accurately gets the "petrichor" effect right.

Anything with Mitti as a dominant note.

    None for me.

Maybe Terre d'Hermes. But then again TDH reminds me of many things, not just rain, since it used to be my signature.

The mossy notes in, e.g.: Sir Irisch Moos, Guy Laroche Horizon, perhaps even L'Erbolario Felci.

All of these fragrances, though very different from each other, share some common points like earthiness, rootyness, resinousness, grassiness, all this amounting far more to a damp landscape after rainfall, perhaps some moist air and moist earth, rather than rain and/or rainwater per se.

    Another for Narciso Rodriguez.
Adding L'Homme de Coeur and Un Jardin Aprs La Mousson.

Narciso Rodriguez for him is the first thing that came to my mind. However, if it's a cool rain, I'd also suggest Encre Noir. If it's a hotter rain, then I like a good vetiver like Guerlain.

London? Interesting ... Burberry Brit is one of my go-to rainy fragrances, for whatever reason. Especially in the fall. I like the Brit Summer version for summer, as well.

I'm like that, too - and tend to wear somber mossy chypres in this kind of weather. Today it's raining, so Scherrer is SOTD
