Default Diptyque Philosykos EDT vs EDP

I have a sample of the EDT and love it. I'm planning on buying the 1.7 oz but wanted to get your opinion on whether I should buy the EDT or EDP. For those who have tried both, what is the difference? Does the EDP has more longevity? Is the smell different at all?

EDT is strong enough with about 3-4 sprays & I own the EDT...Haven't tried the EDP, as I didn't find the need to.

I have both and IMO the EDP is definitely richer, warmer, stronger and lasts longer.

I have tried both and ultimately bought the edp. They smell quite similar and the edt is perfectly fine, but the edp does have more longevity and I think manages to maintain the fresh vegetal character for longer. The rose also appear more in evidence in the edp, whereas I think the edt becomes a touch sweeter soon.

I only have the EDT and I love it - problem is that it vanishes after 2 hours maximum on me

Would guess the EDP would last longer but yet to try

Agree that the EDP is a lot richer. It's a matter of taste.

EDP last twice as long on my skin with less fig leaf.

I know both and regret having bought the EDP after my EDT was finished. I think the EDP is greener, to me more masculine and is lacking this subtle softness I like in compination with the freshness.

EDP has more wood/leaf which is why I got it. Edt has more fig.

I prefer the EDP version over the EDT.
