Paco Rabanne 1 Million of the two choices.

I don't think either are summery fragrances. But in any case I think 1 Million is way better than VPH. The Versace to me is just a middling orange scent. It has little character IMO.
As for summer scents there's so many options. Try using the search function for ideas. My summer stock consists of ck Truth, Cool Water, Nightflight, Crave and DKNY Woman. Plus a few others!

I think VPH is definitely a good summer fragrance. I've worn VPH on some very hot southern Californian days and it works great in that context, staying fresh throughout. I'm not a fan of 1 Million, but many are. Realistically, though, it's not an ideal summer scent IMO, I would think it would be too sweet and cloying.

Both are good fragrances, but I'd pick Versace Pour Homme out of the two for summer wear. 1 Million is strictly a fall/winter scent IMO.
    Top 5 for Winter:
    1) Musk Oud - By Kilian
    2) Straight to Heaven - By Kilian
    3) Back to Black - By Kilian
    4) Encre Noire - Lalique
    5)
M7 (vintage or Oud Absolu) - YSL

Im amazed at some people saying VPH is not a summer fragrance. Its a beast of a summer fragrance and gets tons of compliments. Every single time I have ever worn it at least one female has told me how great I smell. Its perfect for summer. 1 million on the other hand is a good fragrance but not for the heat...its very sweet. I also never get compliments with 1 million...perhaps because everyone is so familiar with it...I dunno.

    This.

1 Million is better, but VPH is better in the summer.

Versace Pour Homme is pretty much made for summer. 1 Million on the other hand is heavy, sweet, and extremely strong.

Tending to second that Versace PH is the more suitable for summer out of the two.

Thanks I appreciate all the help! I've had a lot of people recommend Ralph Lauren Polo Red and Gentleman Only Givenchy. Any thoughts?

I am wearing Gentleman Only right now lol. I have always had a good experience while wearing it and think its a great fresh scent for warm weather. As for the Polo I have never owned or fully sampled this one. I have only smelled it on paper and was not impressed.

Versace pour Homme may be nothing special but I'd choose it over 1Million in a heartbeat, for summer wear or anytime wear for that matter. Gentleman Only I tried once in store and give it 6/10. I have sampled Polo Red but don't remember anything about it.

Versace PH is a terrific summer scent, but when it's really HOT out(upper 80's and up) I like and use Eau Fraiche. I love 1Million, but would never wear it in the summer, it's just way too strong and potent.
