I see so many people recommend VPH for summer and I was wondering if there is anything better?
There are plenty of better fragrances but imo not for the price point. VPH is my go to summer fragrance because its cheap, it last, and it gets compliments left and right from the ladies. But obviously there are plenty of great summer scents.

Mugler Cologne may be another good value for money choice for summer. While it remains a matter of taste whether it is actually better (or not) than fragrances within a similar or at a different price point, I guess it is a summer fragrance with a fairly decent price-quality ratio.
Plenty better than VpH, but at its price point, it's at least a middle of the pack option, and worth consideration. A similar option would be Dior Homme Sport, which I personally would prefer.
Great scent. Not the BEST, but a pretty good option for the < $100 group.
I keep preaching the greatness that is Kenneth Cole Black. Others that are great in the lower cost bracket:
+1 Nautica Voyage
+1 Mugler Cologne
+ 1 Dior Homme Sport
Acqua Di Gio Essenza
Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche
Dior Homme Cologne 2013
If you are willing to go > $100, you can find plenty that are better. However, VPH is a very good scent for sure.
Current Spring Favorites:
1. Creed - Spice & Wood
2. by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
3. Dior - Vetiver
4. Clive Christian - 1872 for Men
5. Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver
6. Ermenegildo Zegna - Haitian Vetiver
7. Les Nez - Turtle Vetiver Back
8. Tom Ford - Rive d’Ambre
9. Creed - Green Valley
10. Parfumerie Generale - Grand Siecle Intense 7.1
If so, not by much IMO....this stuff is right up there amongst the very best of summer scents.
It seems like Versace Pour Homme has had a sudden surge of popularity on here (seeing all the new mentions of it). I own & like it but it's nothing that will amaze you. Nautica Voyage is at a much cheaper price point & smells better in my opinion. Dior Homme Sport ( Both vintage & Reform) & plenty of fragrances from Hermes blow VPH out of the water in terms of uniqueness & complexity. Again, Im not bashing VPH or anything as I like it enough to own a bottle of it.
Guerlain Homme & Pamplelune Guerlain also are among the best designer summer scents on the market I've sampled
at it's price point nothing can touch it imo..
