Pardon me if this is in the wrong section. I purchased Play Intense 4 years ago and it is my go to bottle, the longevity I get from it and complements it draws is second to none. However I have been looking for something with the same characteristics and a comparable longevity. I have searched the forum and a couple of people have mentioned La nuit(I came across one by paco robane and one by ysl not sure which one was being referred to), Rochas man and pure malt. I was wondering of there are any other suggestions. I'm new here so I am in my learning phase. Thank you all
Michael Jordan Legend is another one.
I'm a big fan of Play Intense as well.
I think you should try A*Men A Taste of Fragrance by Thierry Mugler. You can find them pretty cheap online. It's an excellent fragrance with intense coffee and chili notes up top followed by a rich vanilla/mocha latte base. It's a bit darker and denser than Play Intense.
Regarding La Nuit, people are referring to YSL's.
My wardrobe is up to date.
A bit off-topic, since this fragrance is not that similar to Givenchy Play Intense, however a version of YSL La Nuit with better longevity but also some of its notes pleasantly enhanced, obtainable for a slight additional price difference, is the La Nuit Le Parfum flanker.
A cheaper fragrance with a similar vibe IMO - XXL Live by Daniel Hechter

Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
Thank you all, I will add all of those to my list.
I might be the only one, but Dior Homme Eau for Men reminds me of Play Intense.
New Harleem in a high scale.
My only problem with Play Intense is that it had a synthetic vibe in my opinion. Is there another fragrance that smells similar but with more naturals? I wouldn't mind paying more for that!
Just tried Guerlain Tonka Imperiale and it has a similar vibe to me, interestingly enough, though with a few notable differences. Most importantly, being Guerlain, it didn't smell even the slightest bit synthetic. I wonder if others notice the similarities or if it's just my skin but I'm very happy with TI.
