Welcome to you! I'd go with Spicebomb of the two, although I also like A*Men.

    Welcome!

Spicebomb is the better, classier and more versatile scent, IMO.

Some of the A*Man flankers however are quite worthwhile.

Spicebomb is one of the most tiresome, common, boring, tedious, least thought out, no mystery having, made for the mall loitering masses things I've ever smelled.

A*Men is excellent if you can handle that kind of heavy gourmand oriental.

I voted for Spicebomb, but if you want to step up from that, go with Histoires de Parfums 1899 Hemingway. A scent that is somewhat similar in a lot of ways, but done a little better.

And if you want to bring even higher Then get "Une nuit a Doha by Stephane Humbert is similar but boy this stuff will have you wanting to eat your own self superbly blended and will blow SB and Hemingway out the water no pun intended

Interesting. I have only worn Une Nuit a Doha once so far, and initial impressions can change for sure from a single wearing, but I thought it was pretty good, but a little powdery/feminine for me. Mentally, I thought of it as a "Chergui pour Elle". I will need to give it another wearing soon to see if I get a similar vibe as Hemingway.

It depends on what you are looking for...if you want something something for the day and work, then go with SpiceBomb. If you are looking for something to wear going out, the get A*Men. Having said that, I wear both to work and in almost any given situation. I would say that SB is more versatile and could be worn in the hotter months, where AM might be a little more difficult to pull off this time of year.

    I agree with this.

Spicebomb smells like a spicy (clove) Christmas candy gumdrop or a spicy Christmas drink.

A*Men smells like burnt incense with overly sweet nonsense in the background, and its projection is as dense as a brick. People WILL smell you.

    My vote goes to A*men.
Spicebomb reminds me of the smell of a pencil eraser when I was a kid. Not a bad smell though, but the cocoa-patchouli combo has much more depth, power, presence to my nose.

They are actually two different "characters" anyway so... Why choose ?

Hello to you(s) and thanks for your opinions guys. One thing, is the A*Men bottle in black a different fragrance to the silver bottle, or is that just a different design?

Spicebomb is easier to wear. Like them both, A*Men a little more.

I also like both; but whilst some of Mugler's flankers are better, compared with the original A*Men I prefer Spicebomb.

The silver bottle is refillable. That's the only difference. Better in my opinion as you can buy refills for it cheaper than just buying a new bottle of it again.

Pure Leather is a better version of Amen. It is Amen with the tar note turned down and is much smoother and better balanced. But it is a fall/winter nite fragrance IMO.

Amen for me. Spicebomb is more versatile, but Amen is way more interesting, unique and fun to wear.

If you want to get complimented by others, want to wear your cologne on a regular basis, and are considering wearing it to work, get Spicebomb.

If you want everyone to talk about "the guy who puts on too much cologne", want a bottle untouched for months, and want to get fired, get A*Men.

In other words - Spicebomb wins this one, no contest.
    Top 5 for Fall:
    1) Straight to Heaven - By Kilian
    2) New York - Nicolai
    3) Terre d'Hermes
    4) Aventus - Creed
    5)
Flower of Immortality - By Kilian

Spice bomb is just a updated version of One Million, find nothing interesting about it. A*men is more class but if it was between A*men and Dior Homme. I'll take Dior homme as the intense version is hard to find
