Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
I'm a woman and I love to smell deeper woody & spicy vanilla scents on men. I rarely like citrus frags.
Mi sagli smo glave, u strahu da biće jo gore...i biće, jer sagli smo glave...a ljubav ivi...
Of course, it's true that all people are different, but if you're looking for a scent that a woman will like, I think it's just common sense to think about it from the opposite angle. First, think about the kind of woman you're interested in. Then, think about what that sort of woman enjoys. Think about what she finds attractive. The more you know what she likes, the easier it is to know what to wear. OK, it's really about making an educated guess... but that's a fine place to begin.
For example, I love brainy, bookish women. I think readers and writers are sexy. If you like those women too, trust me: the note you're looking for is TEA. I'm not saying it'll thrill every one of those women, but in terms of making an educated guess... Tea, tea, TEA. It's been a winner for me.
In my experience, foodies tend to like the spicy notes.
In my experience, outdoorsy women tend to like the green, mossy and woody notes.
In my experience, old fashioned women tend to like the more classic scents, with citrus, lavender and oakmoss.
In my experience, younger women tend to like the sweeter scents. Gourmands and sugary stuff.
In my experience, modern women tend to like more playful or unexpected scents.
The reason I said "In my experience" is because I can only say what has worked for me. I'd assume that notes will appeal differently to women with different lifestyles, and even more so, from different countries and cultures.
I could go on and on... but, really, it's simple. I'd bet if you jot down a few sentences about the kind of woman you're interested in, you'll find that it's pretty easy to make an educated guess about what she would enjoy.
Want a decant of Spice & Wood or Pure White Cologne? I'm looking for a small decant of Original Vetiver. Let's swap!

I prefer smoky, woody and musky notes on my man. Definitely not citrus or vegetable.
Anything with vanilla has been a winner for me.
