I'm in the UK and purchased a bottle of Santal de Mysore from the online Serge Lutens store.
The perfume duly arrived via UPS with various free gifts but a smaller bottle than I had ordered and paid for.
After advising SL via email and sending some photo's of the package contents they have apologised for the error and are sending out the correct bottle. They have also said to keep the bottle sent in error as a gift!!

Apparently not. I ordered the bell glass bottle[75ml] and received a spray bottle[50ml] which isn't actually listed in that size on the website.
You are very lucky.
I have had few wrong deliveries also but always had to send the wrong bottle back even the one that was broken during transport (ausliebezumduft.de). That was a lot off hassle....
Not lucky, its just shows that Serge lutens understand the principle of customer service.
That's how good customer service is supposed to work.
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
They did come in an export bottle, and still are out there.

Santal de Mysore is my all-time favourite, so in case you need a loving home for the 50ml bottle, I promise to take good care of it.
I have nothing but the highest praise for the outstanding service offered by Serge Lutens, and am hoping to make a pilgrimage to the Palais Royal wonderland sometime in the next few months.
