Exclamation Baldessarini Del Mar Seychelles vs. CH Chic

I'm really wanting to get a soft, casual office fragrance.

I've always had my eye on Chic by CH but something has always prevented me from blind buying it.

Now I've stumbled across Baldessarini Del Mar Seychelles and I'm interested in it. It seems to resemble Chic in the notes.

Has anyone tried both and have a comparison?

What's your opinion on either frag?

    Thanks.

Chic was supposed to be a great fragrance but apparently has been heavily reformulated to the point of becoming diluted. I haven't tried Baldessarini Del Mar Seychelles but the notes look a lot like Maxims Orphee. Have you considered YSL La Nuit or BdC?

I've always wanted to try Maxim Orphee, I heard it was a watermelon bomb. I love fruity and sweet fragrances.

Man, I don't know what it is about Chic for Men by Herrera. Its always regarded as this beautiful blend of lemon, watermelon, cinnamon and sandalwood, but when I wear it it seems so muted. Its like the essence of a fragrance that once was...Its really aggravating because it smells so promising but its just soo trace in aroma. Anyway, that one is a gamble. Could get a real dud. I won't buy it unless I was getting a STEAL.
    Summer Rotation:

    Versace Pour Homme by Versace
    Cool Water Game by Davidoff
    Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
    H.M. by Hanae Mori
    Vettiveru by Commes Des Garçons
Riverside Drive by Bond No. 9
Soon to include "Ab Spirit Silver"

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....

I just traded for a reformulated bottle for Chic(all clear sides and black atomizer pipe)a couple weeks ago and this scent is a total winner IMO. I wore 4 sprays yesterday and honestly it was too much for about the first 2-3hrs or so, and then mellowed out and lasted another 3-4hrs where I could clearly detect it. Normally my skin drinks up frags, but this stuff REALLY lasts for a fresh fruity scent! I can't imagine what it must have been like before the reform, if indeed it's true this stuff has been watered down. Great sweet watermelon opening that sticks around for a surprisingly long time, then dries down into a sweet woody/musky and slightly peppery scent that just keeps on chugging along. Highly recommend this one!!!
