Yes. All fragrances are for all seasons. Your attitude towards perfumes & seasons dictates that.
Note not feminine.
I don't find it similar to vetiver tonka at all.
Not clean & fresh.

Agree that it's not similar to vetiver tonka.
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
Bal d'Afrique is definitely not too feminine for a guy to wear. I would not characterize it as clean and fresh, although it does open up with some bright citrus. There's a sweet, tangy, and somewhat dense amber that persists throughout all phases of the development. Sometimes I find it a bit too sweet for my liking, to be honest.
Current Top Five:
1. Bois des Iles--Chanel
2. George Sand--Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier
3. L'Ame Soeur--Divine
4. Violet Blonde--Tom Ford
5. Santal Blush--Tom Ford
there are a ton of people on youtube, etc that think it smells like vetiver tonka. The drydown is definitely vetiver, but the opening is dirty and sweet. For the price, wouldn't rec'd a blind buy at all. This one def isn't clean and fresh like most vetivers.
