I'm 24, hopefullyI can pull this off! Anyone have suggestions on how I can wear this as in how many sprays and where as to not annoy the people around me or smell like I'm trying to hard?

I am new to this hobby, I felt the need to get some essentials, La Nuit De L'Homme and L'Eau D'Issey. I also got a split of Tobacco Vanille. I am still developing not only my collection, but trying to learn about everything.

JPG Le Male 75ml - I've never had it before and I saw it at a great price with a 200ml body wash GWP so I succumbed.

A couple of good choices there, and you are doing it right with splits/decants. If I could go back and restart again, I'd buy a lot more decants and only buy bottles of those that I truly loved after finishing the decants.

    That is my strategy now.

At the local Perfumania today, there were 2 1.7 oz bottles left of vintage Armani Eau Pour Homme left clearance-priced at $15 each. I bought both in a jiffy - one for me, one as a gift for someone.

Who says that you can't find good deals on vintage juice at bricks-and-mortar stores?

As a newbie, I'm just starting out. Added these frags to my collection today based on the feedback here, and love all of them.

    Thierry Mugler Cologne.
Midnight In Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels.
    Green Irish Tweed by Creed.
    Roadster by Cartier.

    What do you guys/gals think?

Next up on my to-buy list are: Pure Havane, Kiton, and probably Guerlain Vetiver (still undecided about it).

I don't know, I bought it blind because I found a partial bottle for a good price. I think it's discontinued so I wanted it in my collection. Reading the reviews would indicate that it's not one that is loved by everyone.

Today I was at the Exchange on my military base (like a walmart) and saw them selling a 3.4oz of Chanelle Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme for $69.

Also received an ebay purchase from last week in the mail. A tester of Thierry Mugler Pure Havanna that I got for $58.

Not a bad day if I don't say so myself.

Congrats! Just curious if one has to pay sales tax at the Exchange?

    Nope, no sales tax.

You can find a lot of pretty great deals on cologne there. Small selection, but if they don't have it they can order it for you.
