Default 5 fragrances, pick which one

I'm slowly building up my collection and so far have 16 bottles. I'm having trouble deciding what to purchase next out of these:

    Fahrenheit Absolute
    212 men
    A*men (just the standard one)
    1 million
    Boss Bottled

Can I get some opinions? Thanks

Would personally go with Absolute, such an interesting rich, complex take on Fahrenheit, quite good value for money given its way above average longevity and sillage.

Fahrenheit Absolute - the best of the lot IMO.

Lots of great choices, each one is a winner and you can't go wrong IMO. Personally though, I would go with 1 Million or Boss Bottled

Ok thanks for the opinions. I'm going to take the advice of the majority and go for Absolute first, I'll get the others at a later date sometime.

+1. I consider 1M and BB to be full bottle worthy.

Yeah, as far as I've heard it is being discontinued. Fragrancenet.com is still selling it as well as a few other sites. The fact that the majority of people have voted for Absolute over the other ones on my list and also the fact that it is being discontinued was the 2 main reasons for me making up my mind

Yeah I know that this is an awesome scent, I love the smell but my problem with it is everybody has it. Also I'm a 28 yr old man not an 18yr old clubber. I'd rather wear something less popular eg (original) Fahrenheit and smell unique rather than smell awesome but also like every other standard non fragrance aficionado out there...

Ps- I don't mean to sound arrogant by implying I'm a "fragrance aficionado"... I'm an amateur compared to some people on basenotes! I've never put my nose to a Tom Ford and never sniffed a Creed, but I do know the difference between a cool water and a fahrenheit...a difference between a Joop homme and a Versace The Dreamer... So I feel like I have some credibility in the fragrance game compared to the average Joe

Fahrenheit Absolute - I liked it at first but really hate it right now. Its modern spicy masculine... if you can handle overload of synthetic incense. On my "to ged rid off asap" list.

212 men - nice inoffensive fresh green scent. Very versatile but IMO not interesting enough to own in big collection. Still, its only 1 I would consider buying just because its easy to wear.

A*Men - ok now this is very unique scent. Caramel/chocolate + patchouli bomb. I like to wear it like 3x per year but its one of scents that collect dusts because its just too intimidating to use daily. I own decant but will never repurchase. Anyway any fragrance fan should atleast try it.

1 million - everybody here uses it. It is as cloying - maybe even more than current A*Men. I would pass on it just for sake of being bit different. (and I hate scent too)

Boss Bottled - nice inoffensive spicy/fruity scent. Its ok but there are more interesting scents on market.

So, If i was in your place I would pass on all of them

    TOP 5 cold weather:

    1. L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme

Boss Bottled is the most versatile out of all those. Very good designer scent. Not a fan of Angel Men or 1 Million. 212 is nice, but Boss Bottled is a little more sophisticated which I like. Never tried Fahrenheit Absolute.

Yeah good point. I guess that I feel like it's too good to not be in my collection no matter how common it is... If I bought it I probably wouldn't wear it out much, just around the house cos I love the smell so much haha

I don't know where you live, but I've personally never smelled 1 Million on anyone here in the states (maybe once but I wasn't sure) and I go out pretty often.

Only 2 I've recognized with certainty were ADG and Le Male.

True well that's lucky for you, here in Australia 1 million is everywhere it's like a plague... It's the "go to" scent for males 18-25yrs old

Although too late, but I'd pick 212 Men!

    Dior Homme Intense
    Dior Fahrenheit
    Costume National Scent Intense
    Terre d'Hermes EDT

    Creed Aventus
YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme (Old Tin Can)
    Thierry Mugler Pure Malt
    Costume National Homme

Split between Amen and boss bottled.

Surprised to see Fahrenheit absolute already reaching cult status, which in my opinion is due to its discontinuation. Last year no one talked about it ever, now all of a sudden its "the thing"? I had it at one point and while I appreciate its artistic value, to me it was not very wearable due to its cumin (a.k.a. body odor) accord.

As far as 212 and 1 million? They're good but not for me either.

Get the one that is being discontinued. Then add the others. Gear choices. I would hold off on Mugler until fall or winter.

212 Men has become my biggest female compliment getter, can be worn in a huge number of occasions, and just smells great. It's perhaps not complex enough or unique enough for a BN crowd, and if you're looking for something riskier or for yourself, or alternatively for the clubs, then the likes of Fahrenheit, 1 Million, A*men are better choices. If you want a great-smelling female-pleasing date, work, hanging-out-at-the-bar scent, then it's 212 Men by a mile, IMO.
