    Default Mandarin and Patchouli?

Used to exist a deodorant that blended mandarin orange with patchouli, and it was really good. http://c1.soap.com/images/products/p/ale/ale-081_1z.jpg Last time I tried it, it was reformulated, wasn't the same. Which fragrances feature mandarin (specifically mandarin, not just any orange) and patchouli?
Licorice candy for breakfast, and another dab of Black Vines by Kerosene. And a spritz of Plum Japonais for Sunday.

My sister uses the conditioner of this and it smells very similar to Lush Karma. That's not specifically mandarin I don't believe but if you haven't smelled it before it's worth a shot.

If you don't mind sweetness and rose on board too, try Miss Dior Le Parfum

Bulgari Aqua Amara has a nice mandarin note. Don't get any patchouli though.

Seconding Lush Karma. It's not exactly mandarin, but it's halfway btw mandarin and orange. As David pointed out, the new Lush Sikkim Girl has the same citrus-patch drydown (if a bit smoother), but starts with a big floral.

Another one would be Tauer Orange Star. Again, not exactly mandarin, but mixed citruses. (His soap mandarin ambree would be more directly single fruit mandarin, but it's only as a soap).

Interesting you mention this, I was recently reading about it. How prominent is the rose note? (I don't care for roses.)

Oh yes, it is there...very there!
But I guess it depends on what kind of interpretation the perfumer uses or creates.
Which fragrances do you dislike because of the rose in them?

I get both from TF White Patchouli- a lighter patchouli interpretation with a certain crisp, translucent citrus suggestion, perhaps even specifically mandarin.

mandarin and patchouli instinctively reminds me of M7 Oud Absolu... No rose in this one, but there is Oud!

The only one that comes to mind at the moment is Mancera's Aoud Black Candy.

Yes, I have been reading reviews and it sound great, if that rose note isn't too prominent. Medicinal and camphorous? I must order a sample.

You can get it on eBay, it's been discontinued. It's very sugary in a plastic way, orange and sugar, I never got much patch in it at all.

I agree most with the Lush Karma suggestion.
